You’re an elite prospect. What else can you tell us about yourself?

I’m a 13 year old girl that’s wanting to compete at the highest level, although I was diagnosed at age 10 with rheumatoid arthritis - It hasn’t slowed me down; and it won’t.

How did your softball journey begin?

My journey started with my dad teaching me how to throw with a sock and then my parents put me on a T-ball team and here we are now.

What are your greatest strengths as a softball player?

My speed creates chaos.

What kind of hitter are you and what are your most recent offensive stats?

My job as a hitter is to get on base for my teammates and try to create chaos.

You’re obviously very busy with so many activities and events in your life. How do you balance your life and manage your time so effectively?

I have a good support system, my family helps me remember my priorities. God, family, school, and softball.

Describe your game day mental preparation and your thought process and mindset in the batters box.

My game day preparation starts with music on the ride to the field, visualizing having successful at bats. My mindset in the box is to read the defense and find their weakness.

What is your favorite sports memory and greatest achievement?

My favorite sports memory was playing in the Alliance this summer against teams from all over the nation - my greatest achievement is constantly changing because when I reach it I always want more.

How do you handle adversity and even failure?

How I handle adversity is by continuing to grind, and trusting the process.

How would your teammates and friends describe you?

My teammates and friends would describe me as funny.

Who is your role-model and or idol and why?

My dad is my biggest role model, he’s the one who inspired me to play in the first place. He’s the one who’s showed me how to be a great middle infielder. When we practice we call it being in our lab cause you never know what we can create.

If you could spend a day with any softball player, former or current, who would it be and why?

Sis Bates, because of her energy when she played and how it poured into her teammates.

What is your softball dream/goal?

Playing softball at Oregon.

What are your favorite college softball teams?

Oregon, LSU, OU, UCLA, and OSU.

What is your favorite jersey number and why did you choose it?

#99, because of Aaron Judge. One of my dad's childhood friends is the minor league hitting coach for the Yankees.

What other hobbies do you have to balance out softball and your personal life?

I love to go deer hunting, bird hunting, and turkey hunting with my Papa. Anything outdoors. I’m also on my school's archery team.

Who would you like to thank for your softball achievements and support?

My entire family, my sisters and parents train with me and my parents and grandparents work hard to get my sisters and I to all our tournaments.

With sisters ... Capri, Camri, and Rawlings
