Team Spotlight: Athletics Jendro/Doctor 16U

Blue Springs, Missouri:

Head Coach Brandon Doctor and his Athletics Jendro/Doctor 16U team are poised to make some serious noise in 2022. Led by Coach Doctor and Assistant Coaches John Kempf, Mike Bonadonna, and Matt Brewe; they will place an emphasis on growth and development for this second year 16U team based in the Kansas City, Missouri region. Rather than have a revolving door, the coaching staff has focused on player retention by creating an organizational development pipeline for the girls starting with their 10U team(s).

"Fortunately, our girls are talented enough to make that happen. We truly are a family, as most of these girls have played together 6 or 7 years", according to Coach Doctor.

Last year this team joined with the Athletics Jendro organization and began focusing more on recruiting and college expos. This move has already benefited the Athletics Jendro/Doctor 16U team, as they are more recognized and have transitioned to play in higher tier tournaments that offer greater exposure to college coaches.

Coach Doctor is very pleased with how things have turned out, "Same great girls, but a highly respected organization with a proven history of having coaching ties and providing opportunities for their players to be out in front of college coaches."

Legacy & Legends Softball expects this team to be in conversations for Championship Sundays in 2022.
